The Fujiwara clan thrived from the Heian period until the Meiji Restoration, profoundly shaping Japanese culture and aesthetics.
During the Heian period, the Fujiwara clan was the most powerful and influential, supporting the spread of kyuba-no-michi, the ""way of the bow and horse,"" which is the origin of bushido. The use of the bow was, and still is, considered an honorable and almost sacred art, which is why we wanted to honor it with this model.
The Fujiwara sword has an elegant blade with an omidare hamon based on notare, while the fuchi, kashira, and tsuba, all made in Japan, honor the origin of bushido: the use of bow and arrows. The elegant tsukaito in Japanese silk of nando color, widely used in Japan by the samurai class, is woven in Japanese silk with the classic and elegant hinerimaki weave. The menuki, representing arrowheads, evoke the martial spirit, reflecting the deep connection with kyuba-no-michi.
